August's Healthy Recipe

Crockpot Chili Chicken
Level: 1 Pro/Fat
1 whole chicken / 4 oz can diced green
chilis
2 teaspoons chili powder / 1/4 teaspoon
cayenne powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder / 1 teaspoon
salt
1 tablespoon olive oil / 2 cloves
garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, diced / 3/4 cup chicken
broth
Directions
1. Place chicken in crockpot.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the chicken.
3. Cook for about 8 hours on Low. The chicken will be falling
off the
bones when you pull it out, but it will be moist and tender, and
very
flavorful.
This is one of my family's favorite chicken recipes. When I make
it,
I throw in a couple of extra boneless skinless breasts to use
later
on salads.
