Swiss-American Has Recalled Prima Della Imported
Danish Havarti

St. Louis, MO (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) said that Swiss-American, Inc. has
recalled cut pieces of Prima Della Imported Danish
Havarti Plain with a sell by date of March 12, 2003,
because it has the potential to be contaminated with
listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause
serious and sometimes fatal infections in your children,
frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune
systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only
short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe
headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and
diarrhea, listeria infection can cause miscarriages and
stillbirths among pregnant women.

Cut Prima Della Imported Danish Havarti Plain was
distributed through Wal-Mart grocery stores in the
continental United States.

There have been three illnesses reported to date, but
none have been confirmed.

Consumers who have purchased cut Prima Della Imported
Danish Havarti Plain with this sell-by-date are urged to
return same to place of purchase for a full refund.

Campbell's Soup Company Has Recalled Campbell's
Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup

(SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
has released the following information.

REASON
Misbranding - Clam Chowder distributed in cans labeled
as Campbell's Mushroom Soup.
